Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers is Hiring a RN Charge Nurse Near Wray, CO

Registered Nurse: Full-Time Nights, 12HR shifts, 36HRS/WK. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. $31.50-$40/HR, base wage is dependent on experience.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus available with full-time employment & 1-year commitment.

Differentials include weekend differential $1/HR 6p Friday-6a Monday, night shift differential $3/HR 6p-6a.

Benefits include paid time off, other illness, education/tuition reimbursement, employee discount, health savings & flex spending accounts, MASA emergency air & ground transportation; as well as, health, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, and life insurance.

The purpose of the charge nurse is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistants in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers standards.

Requires a team player attitude. Expected to contribute to team efforts and professionally interact with residents, visitors, and staff. Position may require the ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, walk, stand, sit, move, push, pull, and other common physical movements for extended periods of time. Must be physically able to assist with moving and lifting residents. Maybe subject to encounter or exposure of chemicals, odors, air contaminants, infectious waste & diseases.

Must have good verifiable work &/or personal references. Pre-employment background & Colorado Adult Protective Services check is required. Must be able to pass a drug screen. An unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in practicing state, and current BLS/CPR certification is required. Prior experience in skilled long-term care is preferred.
